Name: HMS Maori

Max Depth: 15m

Access: Shore

Diver Level: Open Water and above

Description:

The HMS Maoris was a Tribal Class British Destroyer during Worl War II. She was bombed in 1942 where she was moored in the Grand Harbour in Valletta. She was then cut in 2 and dragged to her resting place in Marsamxett Harbour.
As a dive it is very interesting, with penetration available, as well as some of the shells that are still on the wreck. Home now to much abundance of marine life.

Please note that break ins are very common in this area, so have some shore cover to keep an eye on your vehicles whilst you are in the water.
