Description:

The Um El Faroud was scuttled for diving in September 1998 after a fateful explosion in the Grand Harbour of Valletta, which unfortunately claimed 9 nine lives.

It now forms one of Malta's first artificial reefs having attracted a phenomenal amount of life.

After a big storm in November 2004, the wreck now lies in 2 pieces making the dive even more interesting.

Offering plenty of penetration opportunities, you can a fabulous time both inside and outside the wreck.

Beware of the sometimes strong currents to and from the wreck!
