A wreck dive off Manoel Island sunk by enemy fire in 1942. Originally built in the early 20th century, it came to Malta and was commissioned as a waterlighter for naval vessels in the harbour.
An interesting dive along the reef and harbour wall, with plenty of marine life from abundant damselfish, to cuttlefish and amberjacks.
The wreck itself lies at an angle - the bow being at 6m, and the stern resting at 22m. You should not try to go inside as there is a large silt build up.
Beware of overhead boat traffic.
