NDS is a fully, licensed dive school and a PADI 5 star Instructor Development Centre that is expanding to provide you with all your diving needs. Also an active patron of Project AWARE UK we are passionate about protecting our local environment both above and below water.

In 2010 we were awarded 5* IDC status by PADI and as always we have strived to maintain the same high standard. We have new equipment to ensure that your diving experience with us is as safe and enjoyable as can be.


NDS's purpose is to create a friendly atmosphere for all levels of divers; to provide up-to-date learning on all the PADI courses we teach; to fulfil the diving wishes of our clients as best we can; and hopefully to make all our divers feel that they are part of our diving family.

Your Instructors and divemasters
Andrea and the NDS team are experienced PADI diving instructors with experience of teaching and guiding divers of all levels and temperaments!!!

Our aim is to deliver the kind of diving that you want from us, and we will try to do our very best.

 

Andrea Stanley (PADI Staff Instructor 621041) is 36 years old, comes from Cheshire (UK), and has been teaching diving since 2001. Diving is her main passion, closely followed by skiing (but she had to give that up due to the need for self-preservation!). She is a PADI IDC Staff Instructor.

She started diving in 1999 in Corsica and South Africa, but did all her professional training in Newcastle-upon-Tyne.

Sports and the outdoor life led her to Malta where she is now firmly settled and the proud owner of NDS. Andrea is also the proud mother of her son Alex, born in 2008.

Andrea also speaks fluent German.

Peter Kristensen Dalton aka "The Viking" (PADI Master Scuba Dive Trainer 505442) is 38 years old, comes from Denmark. The Viking has been diving since 1994 and has been teaching diving since 2002.

He is educated as a physiotherapist, so he only teaches with the NDS-team during the summer months.

Peter speaks Danish, English and a little bit of German. He is also able to understand Swedish and Norwegian

 

Chris Heitkemper (PADI Course Director 96248) is 40 years and comes originally from Germany.

 Chris started working as an Instructor in 1996 in Koh Tao, Thailand.In 1998 he moved to Malta where he worked for several Dive Centres.

Chris became a PADI Course Director in 2001 and since then he has concentrated on conducting Instructor Development Courses in Malta. Since 2003 he has been also teaching Tec Deep and Tec Trimix courses at diver and instructor level.

Chris speaks English, German, French, & Italian.
