Andrea Stanley (PADI Staff Instructor 621041) is 34 years old, comes from Cheshire UK, and has been teaching diving since 2001. Diving is her main passion, closely followed by skiing (but she had to give that up due to the need for self-preservation!). She is a PADI IDC Staff Instructor.
She started diving in 1999 in Corsica and South Africa, but did all her professional training in Newcastle-upon-Tyne.
Sports and the outdoor life led her to Malta where she is now firmly settled and the proud owner of NDS.
Andrea also speaks fluent German.
Alan Porter (PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer 602229) is 39 years old, and comes from Bristol UK.
He has been a PADI instructor for 13 years.
He has a broad knowledge of all types of diving, drift, cold water altitude diving etc. He is a keen conservationist, regularly taking part in underwater clean ups.
His favorite past times include travel, skiing, keeping in shape, and is still trying to learn another language!

Mark Dove (PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer 491019) learnt to dive in 2003 in Sharm el Sheikh. He quickly fell in love with diving and went back to Egypt on several occasions.
He met his future wife Lynn in 2003. Lynn also being a diver persuaded Mark to try other destinations and from then on every holiday bar one was a diving holiday.
Mark was strictly a warm water diver; the idea of wearing a dry suit was alien. Lynn wanted to introduce Mark to cold water diving and the delights that quarries and the Irish Sea had to offer. I think the quote was “You’re not getting me in there!” After a little cajoling we soon had him in Capernwray Quarry.

It was not hard to persuade Mark to agree to a change in career. So in November 2006 we joined the instructor internship programme at Mermaids in Pattaya, Thailand. As well as becoming a Master Scuba Diver Trainer, Mark also did an ASSET scuba technician course as he loves to get the back off things.
Lynn Moss (PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer 490236) learnt to dive in 1997 with BSAC in sunny Manchester, diving in quarries and off Anglesey, as well as Red Sea liveaboards. Unfortunately a car accident forced Lynn to give up diving in 2001, but a couple of years later she met Mark who enlightened her into the PADI way.
Lynn joined a PADI club in Manchester and started enjoying 4-degree February quarry dives once again (Mark being definitely surface support only!). She also went on club trips to the Philippines, St. Eustatius, Ireland and Jordan, plus private diving holidays to Barbados and Egypt.
Moving to Thailand and becoming an instructor was all Lynn’s idea. After getting married in Bangkok, becoming a Master Scuba Diver Trainer, and teaching in Pattaya, she has since found jobs for us in the West Indies and now in Malta, where we are looking forward to spending the 2008 season.

Natasha Baker (PADI Divemaster 648828) learnt to dive with Andrea back in 2005, and since then has been steadily moving up the certification ranks until she reached the prestigious rating of Divemaster with NDS this summer, where she is a valuable team member leading dives and helping with the day-to-day running of the place.
Tash comes from Dartford, Kent, and is currently studying photograhy and videography at De Montfort University, Leicester.
